  1. That radar imagery loop from Charleston WV looks like the precipitation is sagging southward a bit already....????
  2. Well the flake size is enormous now in this final band. Still have just one inch.of compacted snow, but has to be 2 plus inches that fell.
  3. Back to moderate snow with larger flakes. Accumulating on side streets again that had become just wet. Check out the bitter cold air in west central Canada.....Calgary -20F, Edmonton -45F and Saskatoon -40 F. Huge area of vodka cold moving southward. These temps taken from GREarth hourly metar.
  4. Hard to overcome the soaked ground. 3/4" with lighter rates now.
  5. 0.3" with large flakes falling, main road behind house is still wet. However, the neighborhood streets are caving now.
  6. Grass and elevated surfaces are whitening up. Rates starting to increase here, hope we can get under a good band for a couple hours.
  7. And both of those Winter's had incredible squalls that rolled through the region.
  8. Radar returns are not strong overhead but our sleet has changed to steady light snow. Small flakes.
  9. Sleet now here between Waldorf and LaPlata. Half of the neighbor's tree just collapsed from the ice and gusts.
  10. The 18Z European map does or does not include the snow already fallen?
  11. Worried that it might be too much? It is still digital snow until events play out tomorrow.
  12. The radar back in Kentucky is blossoming again with moderate to heavy rain
  13. Friend on west side of Richmond has sleet now as well
  14. More sleet than rain and now accumulating on paved surfaces. Radar to the west looks fun.
  15. CMC is showing 12 to 20 inches across southern MD, Northern Neck and central Eastern Shore
  16. The Canadians want us to have a regional blizzard on that run as well.
  17. Will Winchester survive?? That looks like a full blizzard for most of us.
