As long as we get THE ONE lone major snow event this Winter on the southside of DC/Baltimore that will be fine. But dang this rain needs to stop. Over an inch already and radar looks heavy for hours.
So central and southern MD and the central Eastern Shore are lining up for another 2-4 inches of rain and some gusty winds, as long as that screaming low level jet stays aloft and leaves us alone...okay.
If you are in the DC metro region use the Airport terminal radars. As long as you have access to the radar sites at TDCA, TADW, TIAD, TBWI and they do not go down we will be fine.
1.77" since yesterday 3.1" for the month, glad the bulk of the heavier rain slid off to the east. The ground is totally soaked again with standing water everywhere.
