  1. As bad as it was, it was much better than the Upper Midwest. MN, MI and WI. Even the UP never really got going. I suppose there is still Quebec but a guy I know was supposed to be in the Gaspe this week and cancelled. New Brunswick shut down or will be soon.
  2. And golf courses, hiking trails etc. still won't be open until their usual dates.
  3. The problem up here is that it just extends the useless time of year from 6 weeks to 8 or 10. Its not like I can golf or hike or swim. It's just useless mud. If I could now get out and do warm season activities, I would be right there with you but we both know that's not happening until late April at the earliest.
  4. In terms of grooming, we have already surpassed all the grooming done in 15-16. There has been riding but obviously not consistent and not statewide.
  5. Wait, I've been told that springs have gotten better in recent years.
  6. Japan is having a bit of a torch too. https://japantoday.com/category/national/unusually-warm-weather-in-northern-japan-puts-damper-on-winter-events
  7. About the “biting cold”. I thought the same thing as I was unloading my sleds to go riding and then I realized it was like 25°. Most years I’d be so acclimated to cold that I’d basically be able to go out in shorts and a tee shirt and think what a nice day. It’s been so warm that 20°-25° feels like the Arctic. Lol
  8. Did a short 50 miler today. Some good and some mediocre. Not any really bad stuff.
  9. About as shit as the 49ers defense in OT last week.
  10. Went up to Williston today. The spine was clouded in snow but like you said, it was low topped. It didn’t even seem like it was hitting the ground at times on 89.
  11. We came down to Hanover for the Dartmouth/Clarkson hockey game and there was a constant line of headlights heading north on 89.
  12. At least it’s not hitting the Ohio wall this time.
