The same happened when our house was set. That was corrected when we did our siding project last month. -
My wife and son headed over to Groton State Forest only have to leave 20 minutes later when it started thundering and lightning. Radar has shown storms blowing up just to my south several times today. I don't think we actually got any rain though, just clouds and thunder.

I’m the same way. The 9:45 sunsets in Marquette, MI we’re awesome.

Spending part of last week in the UP of Michigan was awesome. The combination of being on the very western edge of the eastern time zone and a little further north meant sunsets at 9:45 and sunrises closer to 6:00. That’s nearly perfect for me.

Listened to some during our drive but then spent the afternoon walking around Niagara Falls and was pumped to the move Rory made and deflated to hear Bryson sink the winning par putt. Wish I could have watched it. I bet this is the major I watch the least of though. If the weather is nice this time of year I feel guilty sitting on the couch watching tv.

They had those steel “bear proof” trash cans everywhere in the UP. Probably time for Vermont to start upgrading.

It was a nice beach day in SW Michigan.

The hotel/casino I’m staying at in Green Bay is right between the airport and the GRB office. One of the people who came out for this conference walked from the airport to the hotel after his flight. I’m the blue dot.

Rory just got back together with his wife. Maybe that will help him. Not sure how you can’t have Bryson after his showings in the first two majors. Scheffler is obvious, Schauffle and Morikawa are playing well. I would never count out Koepka either. There’s always a wildcard but I’m not sure who. Maybe Keegan Bradley because he’s been playing decently and he grew up in VT.

The size of the lakes is mind blowing. So much of the UP is national forest or park or lakeshore or state land. The size and distances of the states outside of New England are mind bending.

On vacation in the Great Lakes. Took a boat tour of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore today. Absolutely stunning.

The day did turn nicer though. Lake Huron is spectacular.

It’s 44° with a “feels like” of 38° where I am. Not exactly the weather I wanted to start our tour of the Great Lakes with!

Rained on and off all the way in the drive here to North Bay. 53° and windy when we got to the hotel. Looks like it got to 64° at home. There is a lot of woods between Ottawa and here. The Trans Canada drops down to a two lane road not that far west of Ottawa, maybe 50 miles? Tomorrow we drive to Sault st Marie. Wish the weather was going to be better but I’m still excited to see the big lakes.

When I left my office in Waterbury around 2:30, there was so much pollen blowing off the trees it looked like a Haboob. A pollen haboob.
