About the “biting cold”. I thought the same thing as I was unloading my sleds to go riding and then I realized it was like 25°. Most years I’d be so acclimated to cold that I’d basically be able to go out in shorts and a tee shirt and think what a nice day. It’s been so warm that 20°-25° feels like the Arctic. Lol
Went up to Williston today. The spine was clouded in snow but like you said, it was low topped. It didn’t even seem like it was hitting the ground at times on 89.
Not sure what Waterbury had but it was more than the 2” I had at home. Maybe 4”? These type of set ups always disappoint me. I sit in my office in Waterbury and watch it snow most of the day and then head home looking forward to more snow just to see partly cloudy with scattered flurries and snow showers by the time I get to Barre Town. The thing is, intellectually I know that’s what happens but I always fool myself.
I have always said I'd like it to be balls to the walls winter up until about March 15th and then it can flip a switch. Mud season is useless to me. No riding, no golf, nuthin'. Get me straight to useful weather.
