Will it bring me more snow?

I think there was a problem with the forum. When I logged on, I saw there hadn't been any posts overnight and was going to comment on that but the site wouldn't let me.

After baking under that pig ridge all summer in Nashville, 34° and rain/snow should feel refreshing.

Looked out my window when I read this and noticed it was snow here too.

Schools cancelled and pelting sleet the last time I was out about 45 minutes ago. Main roads are ok but the back dirt roads are slick

The 3”-8” range is our bread and butter. We all have different weather favorites and mine is retention and base depth. Some prefer the big dogs but as long as I have enough to ride, that’s my jam.

My greatest fear is the December 1989/January 1990 duet. -17.3 in December 1989 at BTV to +11.8 in January 1990. The high temp for the month of December was 41 on the 12/31. I am always in fear of the rubber band snap back. https://www.weather.gov/media/btv/events/Dec1989.pdf

I’m going to be at camp. 1500’ on a hill with an open view facing northwest. We can see Mansfield to Jay from the front porch. NW winds pummel the place.

It's 4" of man snow for sure. That is an armor coating for the slopes

Not if it happened off slope. People sue for anything. It wouldn't surprise me if it is less expensive than hiring people to maintain the sidewalks manually.

Just under 4" of snow/sleet/ice/crap here. The roads are were pretty much left alone in anticipation of the mixed bag o'crap and that seems to have worked ok as they weren't glazed. Glad I put my winters on back in October when my summer tires were shot. A bit earlier than I would prefer but at least I was ready.

We had a really thick crust this morning but it was all back to snow by the time I left for work around 6:45. Glad I was forced to put my winter tires on a few weeks early. We just bought a new car yesterday and they are going to put winters on before we pick it up and it may be next week before we get it.

Pretty sure they make up for the lost tourism dollars with the lack of lawsuits from people slipping on slippery sidewalks.
