  1. 94/70 right now Couple 80 degree readings out on the Bay -- nice day to be on a boat
  2. We were enjoying the deck a couple days ago and one of those things started shrieking about 20-30 feet from us. I thought we had more time Noticeably more sticky this morning while out watering. It's gonna be a scorcher
  3. I'm glad we don't get the nasty milky sky HHH days like back in the 70s and 80s. That haze would make the air itself bright as heck
  4. We get that for six months here. I'll take the heat 91/69
  5. Man people that booked OC MD for this week are happy -- upper 70s and low 80s even into next weekend while we roast
  6. Lucked into a nice t-shower for about 0.3 last night
  7. Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Yesterday and today looked great on paper but it's cloudy, breezy and chilly. It's going to make next week's big heat harder to get used to!
  8. Flush hit by heavy shower dropped 0.6 which was needed since I only got 0.3 yesterday Sun is back out. Looking forward to the great weather coming up
  9. Coming down heavier than it looks on radar. Efficient rainers
  10. Surprise pop-up shower that was just enough to wet the uncovered deck chairs
  11. Ha it's raining harder now than it ever did on Monday
  12. Got 0.3 on the northern edge of those cells to go with the 0.2 from last night. Very nice! Ground is moist as we head into the cool and dry upcoming week
  13. Wasn't expecting this! Cloudy, breezy and cool with off and on sprinkles. Was it the decaying squall line last night that has snuffed our big T-storm chances?
  14. Nice back-to-back showers last evening with 0.5 total. They even waited until I got the bbq chicken off the grill
  15. Ocean City MD has a big one incoming
  16. Friend up in Urbana just west of I-270/Rt 80 got hit hard by that storm last evening with 1-inch hail and pretty good wind. Frederick County has been getting it! How about that cool, sunny weather later next week? Highs upper 60s/low 70s?
  17. Those dang mushrooms -- our puppy keeps trying to eat them! We just cut the grass yesterday and they're gone....for now
  18. I knew a couple days ago when I saw partly sunny and 30% chance showers for this weekend it would end up a rainout. TG for telework so I can enjoy the nice weather this week
  19. Real nice looking week coming up, but next weekend.... just watch that "chance of showers and partly sunny" on Sat and Sun end up being rain and highs of 60
  20. We have relatives coming in from south FL tomorrow. They are gonna feel like they've landed in Scotland LOL Can't believe tomorrow, MAY 18, will be the fourth straight Saturday of rain and highs in the 50s
  21. This disco epitomizes the November thru May dreary period we are still in. Soon we'll finally get to our scorching summer which we should try to savor as November and the 7 dreary months will be here before we know it Slow moving low pressure will gradually push across the Mid-Atlantic region today through Wednesday, bringing increased chances for showers and isolated thunderstorms as well as below normal temperatures. Drier conditions return briefly Thursday before another storm system brings the threat for showers and storms Friday into the weekend. Weak high pressure tries to build back over the area Monday with additional shower and thunderstorm chances heading into the middle of next week.
  22. Started out so nice but back to our familiar cloudy, breezy and cool Tomorrow does look good but I guess we'll pay for it with two rain days. Might repeat with a good Thursday, then two rain days That's an impressive thunderstorm east of Baltimore
  23. 10 days into May tomorrow and we're looking at highs in the 50s. YUCK
  24. We got a pop-up shower a while ago that must've dropped more rain in 5 minutes than we got all weekend. It went from zero to POURING in seconds. Now the sun's back out. I need to get my darn gauge up
  25. That's one of the things I hate most about this area. May looks great on paper but half the time it sux A while ago I was driving around west of Rockville during a heavy downpour at 51 degrees and saw a guy jogging with shorts and no shirt. Whatever works
