We were enjoying the deck a couple days ago and one of those things started shrieking about 20-30 feet from us. I thought we had more time
Noticeably more sticky this morning while out watering. It's gonna be a scorcher
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Yesterday and today looked great on paper but it's cloudy, breezy and chilly. It's going to make next week's big heat harder to get used to!
Got 0.3 on the northern edge of those cells to go with the 0.2 from last night. Very nice!
Ground is moist as we head into the cool and dry upcoming week
Wasn't expecting this! Cloudy, breezy and cool with off and on sprinkles. Was it the decaying squall line last night that has snuffed our big T-storm chances?
Friend up in Urbana just west of I-270/Rt 80 got hit hard by that storm last evening with 1-inch hail and pretty good wind. Frederick County has been getting it!

I knew a couple days ago when I saw partly sunny and 30% chance showers for this weekend it would end up a rainout. TG for telework so I can enjoy the nice weather this week
Real nice looking week coming up, but next weekend.... just watch that "chance of showers and partly sunny" on Sat and Sun end up being rain and highs of 60
We have relatives coming in from south FL tomorrow. They are gonna feel like they've landed in Scotland LOL
Can't believe tomorrow, MAY 18, will be the fourth straight Saturday of rain and highs in the 50s

Slow moving low pressure will gradually push across the Mid-Atlantic
region today through Wednesday, bringing increased chances for
showers and isolated thunderstorms as well as below normal
temperatures. Drier conditions return briefly Thursday before
another storm system brings the threat for showers and storms Friday
into the weekend. Weak high pressure tries to build back over the
area Monday with additional shower and thunderstorm chances heading
into the middle of next week.
