  1. yeah, you're not in New England, are you? Because we we had in July was very humid with warm mins. Not one single poster here (aside from maybe DIT) would characterize this past July as intense heat. i mean, I had 5 days at 90 or above, which is perfectly normal for my neck of the woods in New England
  2. 70/70, 1/4" of rain since yesterday. whooop-de-dewwwwwwwww
  3. AC on last night to try to stay ahead of the dewey decimals coming today. my house gets very muggy, and stays quite warm well after sundown
  4. people power wash their engine compartments all the time. Just be sure not to spray any water directly into the air intake (which would be almost impossible unless you removed the filter). think of it this way: when you are driving in the rain, all that road spray goes up into the engine compartment from underneath. Same way the mud got there. If they couldn't get wet, they would be in an enclosed compartment.
  5. yes it was where did you pick that up? that building looks a lot like a Polaris dealer in Hooksett
  6. if you’ve never run over a nest and been chased/stung by dozens of winged assholes, you wouldn’t understand.
  7. then what? What do you do with a shop vac full of murder bees?
  8. just spray and run. They’ll be gone in a day or so. I’ve done several ground nests that way. no problemo
  9. 400 yards by 100 yards? that’s like 3 peoples yards.
  10. yeah, no. I use AC to be cool not hot. Those guidelines are frickin stupid
  11. 54 this am. Windows open, AC off. it’s a pretty nice morning
  12. less than 0.1” rain, and virtually no wind. special times are upon us.
  13. that's a flacid weenie tapping DIT on the skull while the ball sack drips onto @CoastalWx forehead
  14. you must have irrigation. Because according to your posts, it hasn’t rained there all summer
  15. Take out a second mortgage for the 100 sections. 200 sections are decent but not cheap. 300 sections are less expensive, but it can take a while to get to/from your seats up there. Also, just so you know the top row in the 300 section is really far from the field and really high. when they do a flyover, you can see the top of the planes from those seats. The best way is to go through Seat Geek and buy just prior to gametime. either way, expect to pay over $100/seat. I buy whatever seats are the absolute cheapest and walk around/stand to watch. There are some great vantage points. plus people watching
  16. i kind of get their reasoning. the dog had no connection to the town, other than being there 1 day a year. i think the owner should put it on private property. The article says that he has several offers.
