Pete Bouchard was pimping the "extreme winds" coming on Sunday...during yesterday's 6pm forecast. my first thought was-well, here comes another non-event.
final leaf cleanup today. was a bit chilly, and got a little chillier after throwing down a few beers. Will drop winter fertilizer tomorrow.
was kind of fun mowing over a couple small parts of the lawn that still had a bit of snow on them. now I need to wait till the equipment dries out before I put it to bed for the winter..
37 degrees off a high of 38. Ice on the pond outside my office* holding on. no geese in sight. sure feels tropical out there.
*for reference, my office is less than 1 mile from MHT as the crow flies
I had the same cab on my JD. i got tired of how the snow sticks to the plastic windshield, so I just sold it. it is a great concept, and does keep you warm and mostly dry. But it really sucks when you can't see out the front window.
that 10/18/09 event triggered me. Was nothing more than a rain/snow mix with no accumulation here. then I got home and flipped on the Pats game, I was like WTF! First, WTF is all the white stuff on the field? And second, WTF is with the score!?!?!
