got the yard work done. Had a little campfire going, then it started to sprinkle. After about an hour we had steady rain, but nothing crazy. enough to drive me back inside. High of 58. just a lovely fall day

ever been to Marthas Vineyard? that place is seriously infested with skunks. Camped at the campground a few times in the past. once the sun goes down, they invade the campsites looking for scraps. but they never spray. i had one rubbing up against my legs one time, like it was a cat. it was hard to sit still lol

so how is north of the MA/NH border looking for Saturday? asking for a friend who needs to get a ton of yard work done

0.03" total yesterday. "Only" 3.25" MTD, all of that in the last 6 days

0.02" so far today. mushrooms in the lawn are wilting, the sand that washed out from culverts over the summer is almost dry. pretty soon I will be asking @Lava Rock and @TauntonBlizzard2013for lawn tips

picked up over 1” in about 1/2 hour this morning, 1.75” on the day so far.

was at an outdoor wedding yesterday. nice day and all, but I was sweating for 5 hours straight. only 1/2” rain so far this month, which is right on cue as I overseeded the lawn last weekend.
