    First of all, who the hell is P Allen Smith? got a little yard cleanup done on Saturday before the deluge. cleaned up 3 cart loads of branches, sticks and pine cones. Pine cones?!?! I don't even have any pine trees in my yard.

    the next 10 days+ do not look good for the ski areas. I am worried that my local hill is going to close early this year. that would be a bummer, as I have only gotten to use my pass 10 times so far. Last year I used it 10 times in March alone.

    36 here. what a string of rats though. Including this year, I am at 79% of normal over the last 6 years. Last year was the only above average, due to a stat-padding 27" March.
