  1. Snowing pretty good here again. Not the biggest storm, but hard to not love snowing flying around. for those thinking they missed out on a big south shore storm, it was nice but don’t feel too much fomo.
  2. Nice little Friday event. I measured about 6.5" here.
  3. Need to take the dogs out in a bit and will give it a more accurate read. Eyeballing it.
  4. Pounding snow here. Somewhere in the 4-5" range.
  5. Pushing 3” here. Can’t believe how powdery this stuff is. bigger picture, I let the models get in the way of climatology in these setups. Good reminder that it is not a blanket “this model sucks” or “this model is king.” NAM good in these scenarios.
  6. Woosh...going to be living on the edge in this one. Hard to complain. Happy for the crew North of the city on this one.
  7. Sign me up for the 6-7" consensus in these parts, then harden the shell of the pack.
  8. This actually feels like a more plausible scenario. Still not ready to sign on the line for scenarios like the 18Z Euro spitting out 10 and 11 spots all over the board. Many win in this scenario.
  9. He does feel like he has been at the front of this for many pages of this thread.
  10. Wow, feels like I am going to be living right on the edge of advisory vs warning snows. A few days ago I would have laughed off the possibility of 6"+ here. Now I sit here and look at the models and wonder...is 6-8" possibility? What's your take for our area, @CoastalWx
  11. I pause when seeing 10-11 spots showing up in the BOS metro area. There has to be some "sleet inflation" to these numbers.
  12. Visiting my in laws in Clinton. Getting smoked
  13. Not about to rip and read, but imagine the whiplash of last Saturday to Monday to today to next Friday.
  14. The last couple of pages of this thread reinforce how fascinatingly diverse the climate is in these parts. Always amazed how 30-50 miles can result in people having a spirited debate over a good vs a bad winter. We're overdue for a big March - here's hoping it can deliver this year for everyone and help everyone finish on an up note.
  15. This feels like one of those winters with another couple of tricks up its sleeve. We are overdue for a big March storm with a foot of heavy wet paste.
  16. I am a hard sell on wind damage. Can do without trees snapping and lines breaking.
  17. Ended up with about 7.5-8" here. This was a fun little storm. Not one that will stand out over time, but an enjoyable "meat and potatoes" storm in the context of the season. The contrast of Saturday vs Sunday weather was pretty awesome.
  18. Snow picking up and starting to cover roads here in Cohasset. 3.5” on ground.
  19. To me, it’s not the amount that falls but the contrast in weather that is awesome about this one. at the driving range with my boys today…sledding on Monday? One of my all time favorite weather contrasts was a perfect Easter egg hunt turning into an all out April Fools blizzard in 97. Not that extreme this weekend but still fun.
  20. Would love one of these “last minute” surprise storms to break our way. Nice to mix in with the ones we track for 10 days.
  21. Fascinating to look at the WxUnderground temp map this morning. 35F in Hartford and 30F in Boston...I get the mechanics per the commentary this AM, but still fascinating to me.
  22. Mostly pellets here now...at times I want to be fooled into thinking I am seeing snow mixed in, but find that hard to believe.
  23. What is the fascination with ice? Don't get it.
