  1. One other GFS yellow light is the amount of snow that falls between 7AM-Noon on Saturday here. As we saw this week, would have to be some insane rates to get accums like that. Feels like another Midnight-7AM race to pile up. Not buying double digits.
  2. I'm starting to talk myself into a compromise situation where just south and east of Boston gets 6-8" ala the RGEM, which feels like the compromise between nothing on the NAM and the GFS crushing. The one pause I keep having is there have been plenty of times the last few years where we are in this borderline situation and the NAM sniffs out the temperature issues.
  3. Based on overnight trends, I'm setting my sights on breaking the biggest storm of the season of 3" weeeee. Fun to look at HRRR and GFS, but seasonal trends cannot be ignored.
  4. Am I wrong to be skeptical? Know the setup is different but the seasonal trend this way keeps me from getting excited about GFS
  5. Raining now. Can't even buy a 4" storm. On to 2024?
  6. On/off pulses of snow, but nothing is sticking. Don't see much more accumulation today.
  7. Growth, intensity have gotten more legit in last 45. Darkening out. Not biting yet. .
  8. With each model’s increasing totals, the sun starts to burn off another cloud / brighten here. Selling hard. .
  9. So done with this winter. Bring on the 60 degree Feb days. How can we not buy a 1-3” incher storm? Rhetorical question. .
  10. This may be the worst weather you could ask for. We just came back from dinner on 53 in Norwell and it was 90% rain / 10% flakes. Kids asking me if we can sled in the morning [emoji1787] Would rather a warm rainer like we woke up to yesterday. .
  11. Interesting- occasional flake with mostly drizzle here.
  12. New thread curse alive and well. This was never in the bank, but the seasonal trend continues.
