    Looking at radar trends and cooling trends, I want to talk myself into what the NAM/HRRR was selling last night in these parts around an afternoon changeover before the dryslot. Already pinging and getting some white rain. Will we break the trend or continue the misery?

    3K NAM is mighty interesting in these parts. Isn’t the NAM better at sniffing out low level temps?

    How helpful are the HREF snowfall products? Know they are an ensemble of other models. trend seems a bit snowier around these parts, but not sure if that is a function of the models that drive the output (eg HRRR).

    3K NAM and HRRR are both interesting in these parts. Shows a much stronger push on front and back ends.

    What's your over/under vs the 1/7 storm debacle? I am taking the over for no other reason than hope going into the weekend lol.

    This feels like that storm a few Sundays ago. Waited all day to flip. Got 1-2” in last 3 hours.

    It is really hard to ignore the seasonal trends, but one of these has to play out differently (e.g. like the NAM) eventually...right?

    6" would be like a blizzard for us! I've been bearish on most of the other ones this winter. This one is leaving me with a feeling that we break the streak (before this run). Remind me of this come Monday when it is white rain.

    It’s not happening here. 2” of slush incoming.

    Lower than forecasted. I’d have to go back and look but feels like we have underperformed vs forecast / when it was marginal it almost always trended more negative.

    As a forecaster, how much do you weight bigger picture local trends the last several years? General trend in our neck of the woods has been that we have busted low.

    Need some advice from this group: we are having an end of summer/football kickoff party on Sunday afternoon. Too big of a group to have indoors. I'm in Hingham. Can we pull this off between 12-4PM or do we pull the plug? Agonizing over decision.
