    I want to believe we got around 32-33” here in Cohasset but I have a hard time believing my numbers when we have 5 foot drifts in the yard.

    Any thoughts what the ceiling is on this down on the south shore? Sitting here wondering if we can get 3 feet which feels like an insane accomplishment.

    It’s wild looking at the Plymouth Country PNS reports on the BOX site. Many were reported at 8am. Have blown thru those numbers in last few hours. I know we have a foot…I don’t know how much more than that.

    Cannot believe how hard it’s ripping. This reminds me so much of Juno with the combo of snowfall rates and relentless wind.

    I worry that the volume has been turned up a notch too much in last 12 hours and that there will be a letdown/distrust if we don’t achieve the insanely high ceiling on this storm for the reasons/risks outlined in last page or two.

    What’s the most snow recorded at a SNE weather station in a single storm? Is it the 34” in Worcester during Juno? for all the hemming and hawing over this storm, I don’t think the historic aspect of potential accumulations is being appreciated. Total aside: I remember a storm when I was in college where Schwoegler hyped 40-50”. Was that 2001 or 2002?

    It's interesting to scan through the different snow maps across the Boston television stations. Channel 5 is most aggressive with the wide swath of 24+.

    South Shore should issue some flares to folks to verify existence/life. I've always wondered what it would take to really shut down a region '78 style from a storm. Winter 2015 definitely got close - but that was over a few weeks of storms.

    Anyone else feeling like it is time for this damn thing to start already? We are on our way to 300 pages of fodder and freaking out (present company included). This has the feeling of building towards something historic. For anyone down about the floor being a 6-12” storm…go read the end of December threads!
