  1. That would have me 3 miles from the changeover line. Maybe I flip with heavier rates?
  2. I've got liquid precipitation, can't see flakes out the window.
  3. I’ve got a quarter inch on the ground. Everything except pavement white. Still light snow.
  4. Nice band, huge flakes. Grass and mulch turning white.
  5. Half inch (including slush). The grass is white. Feel like the rates have been decent and I haven’t flipped to rain, just unable to overcome the marginal temperatures.
  6. Looking at about a quarter inch on the grass and nowhere else. Congrats Germantown
  7. Woke up to a rain/snow mix, looks to be transitioning to snow fast
  8. When I lived in Charlotte from 2008-2011 I swear that happened every time. Congrats on the snow everyone
  9. If anything this is right where we want it. They do tend to come in more amped and NW than progged. But who knows.
  10. Models pretty much agree with 2-5 for my area, I’ll predict 2 for my yard and be happy with that. Agree that someone gets banded and jackpots, I’m going to guess the Howard and Montgomery county crowd for this one based upon surface track.
  11. Just drove over to Crofton and car thermometer had 46 degrees. Seems warmer than I'd like it to be given it was 10:15 A.M.
  12. Thanks! Honestly I'd take 2-4 out of this with no mix. Snowpack melted off today and I got just a few sad mounds of snow left. Looking forward to it being white again. Icon looks amazing and the NAM has been outperforming, so I have high hopes.
  13. I'd like my first 6" storm of the season. In fact, I'd like at least 6" total, given that I'm at 5.5". Let's woo away any more NW jogs in this thing and keep it where its at. Those people up in PA have already had enough snow already.
  14. Mad props to LWX for forecasting this (at least in my area). They had the progression of the storm (from snow to mix to rain and back again) pretty much nailed down on Saturday. Snow totals came in less than advertised (my final total was 3.5"), but not dramatically less than what was originally forecasted for this area (4-8") Currently pixie dust still falling out there.
  15. Great huge flakes, roads caving immediately. Best part of the storm. I’m going to dare call it heavy snow.
  16. I’ve got light snow here in Bowie, so it made it pretty far south. Don’t know if I’ll get any accumulations
  17. NC radar does show precipitation creeping northward. Models have the low going all over the place, in many cases east and then west again, north and south again. I looked at the SPC mesoanalysis page and they have a 1002 L off Ocean City by tomorrow morning (if I read that map right, which maybe I didn't). Feel bad for the mets on trying to forecast this. Models do seem to agree on one thing though - lots of snow in Pennsylvania.
  18. It’s been a mixed bag for the past couple of hours but currently mostly snow with some pingers. Eyeballing 2.5 inches for my total, will get official measurement later
  19. Microscopic flakes with the occasional decent one mixed in. Poor flake quality. Like WxMan said I am probably close to the mix line.
