  1. That's a pretty good looking wave. More ridge-y over the NE than I would like, though... at least we don't see a ridiculous 594dm bahamas high on this run.
  2. Cutting the grass extra short made a huge difference
  3. Stopped snowing, 31/28. Looks enough for a nice wintery scene. Take the W guys.
  4. Gfs further south. Maybe doesn’t mean much at this point, except the good trend probably ran its course
  5. Even 0z nam didn’t get precip up to cincy like the radar is doing now
  6. Not liking the latest hrrr runs either, but a comparison between hrrr’s depiction of current radar and the actual radar shows precip is overperforming. At least on the extent of light precip into northern KY, while hrrr keeps it to the southern half of KY. Might mean nothing though
  7. Where LWX thinks the cut off is going to be. Such a straight line…
  8. drizzling again, 36/31. Wasn’t it supposed to dry out temporarily?
  9. Nowcast / obs mode: drizzle, 37 in ashburn. Temps were slowly dropping throughout the day
  10. That would get me on the board. If not, then I’ll make more memes about how bad this winter has been.
  11. Narrator: it’ll go in hibernation for the summer and return in time for next winter.
  12. Any accumulating snow (which is a tall order as it is now) appears to fall during the overnight hours Wed morning. Thinking it’s not worth staying up late or getting up early for this.
  13. He probably would have gone another season or two before getting another, if not more devastating injury. He refused to slide at the end of the play whenever he scrambled. One of those days, one of those speedy safeties would have homed in on him like a heat seeking missile… boom. Hospital.
  14. It will. Maybe this week. Maybe next year. But certainly within a couple of years.
  15. Bring it on. Last summer was boring with upper 80s, a marine layer east of the blue ridge, and severe tstorms dying out right on our doorsteps.
