    Very much agree. If the ice storm threat continues it would be nice to see some input on thermal profiles/droplet size in relation to surface freezing/surface temperatures since we so rarely see serious freezing rain events.

    The ICON (do we look at that?) is colder and never gets above 0C at the surface N of 195.

    The NAM seems to be pretty fast. 6-8" NW of 95 by 6Z Sunday.

    CMC also has the makings of a HECS @ 240.

    It's like it doesn't know what a thermal profile is. 31.7 degrees for some random 22 millibar thickness and 1.5" QPF? Must mean HECS.

    What are the thoughts for VA Beach on the water? .

    Pretty strong looking band headed into Virginia Beach. I'm 14 floors up here on the water and its getting really windy. 30-35 sustained at the moment id say.

    HMON had a due west turn north of its current position. Certainly looks to be heading back out.

    Not disagreeing but radar has a hard time seeing through the eye sometimes. .

    Pretty big wind field on this thing. I’m on the water in Virginia Beach and it’s a pretty constant 15-20 mph breeze. .
