    Worst gardening season in a long time. Depleted soils, not many bees and pollinators and not nearly enough sun leading to slow growth is pretty depressing. I had 2 good strawberries so far but the birds got them before I did

    It's awfully nice out right now. I'm being totally lazy and just puttering around the garden rather than working. Looks like we're getting really lucky with the smoke so that's nice

    Probably better earlier. Apparently it peaked this morning so the West Coast got a show. Who knows what'll be left. Enough that it will likely screw us up.

    My senior year of high school, sitting in those newer rooms with the big windows in the OHS was brutal. On our off periods we'd go sit in our cars with the AC on.

    Anyone have a good sense of the weather in the Adirondacks this weekend? I'm supposed to have a booth at a mtb festival but the idea of a 58° rainy, windy day hanging out in a wet field 10 miles out of Saranac Lake doesn't sound like much fun.

    Meh, I just did a garden walk and drank a cup of coffee wearing nothing more than sweats and a fleece bathrobe.

    Yeah the couple of sunny days were pretty good. If the new growth doesn't drown, on the next 75° day you'll probably be able to see stuff growing!
