  1. Palisades got demolished last night, got 18 inches in the past 24 hours. BIG drift on the 8200' platform! Snow is still pouring down! 6 degrees with gusty snow laden winds! It resembles Rura Penthe, the Klingon snow gulag! https://www.palisadestahoe.com/mountain-information/webcams
  2. We are getting May/June-like southerlies laden with mid 60s dewpoints! Sending it your way for snows!
  3. They are getting annihilated so bad, it's the ShreddedSades, not the Palisades Tahoe! Snow has been POURING down for hours and hours and the temperature has fallen to 6 degrees!
  4. Guilty. I've wasted a ton of time today readin Midwest AFD's, not counting the time I spend nursing my snow cravings at the Palisades Tahoe webcams.
  5. Okay folks There were about 2 inches of snow on that 8200' platform over at Palisades, they cleared it, well now they got about 4 MORE inches of snow on it and its gonna snow there tonight too! It's been about 8 degrees there all day. Wind's been gusting to 25mph. Excellent conditions for a jebwalk. This is only the Beginning. https://www.palisadestahoe.com/mountain-information/webcams
  6. I really feel for you guys. I want a snowstorm to work out for the Mid Atlantic in March, or even this month, Feb. I am not sure whether I am an eternal optimist, or just a crazy eternal fool. But either way, I am pulling for heavy snow for the Mid Atlantic. I want this sub to be very happy.
  7. Don't look now but there is a possibility of a three stream storm in early March smashing the eastern seaboard. Larry Cosgrove hints at this. Winter is NOT done yet with the Mid Atlantic. The Jebman Blizzard of March 2023 will be long remembered and those memories will be fond ones, of torrential wind driven snows. THIS STORM WILL NOT BECOME A DREADED CUTTER. This storm is the last-minute, Hail Mary Mid Atlantic MIRACLE!
  8. I got a chuckle out of that one lol
  9. I saw that, I still keep weather records of Dale City and Woodbridge, VA, and Oxon Hill MD where MGM National Harbor is. Love that place! You guys will be pushing about 35 to 38 degrees above normal Thursday.
  10. I do understand it has been a horrifically bad winter in the East, but if you still want to see snow, check out the 2nd vid from the top, pretty good snows as of 8.39pm CST. https://www.palisadestahoe.com/mountain-information/webcams I am going to be wasting a lot of good time watching this stuff lol
  11. We are MUCH warmer than usual down here too, It's been an unprecedented kick hard in the balls dragging 800lb oak branches in the rapidly deepening grass. This is going to be a hellish summer down here. This is how the record summers start down here: Windy as heck, way above normal and very DRY. OH WAIT! Its still February lmao. North TX hit 87 today. Tomorrow may be even warmer lol, normal high is 64. Lawn mower wont start. Oh well I can just pick grass stalks in bunches with my bare hands, it'll only take me til August lol
  12. Black River Falls, WI will get about 20 inches of wind-blown snow thru late Thursday, while the Sierra may pile up 3-5 MORE feet of snow as the Pacific Storm Conveyor gets going again! Its gonna be so fun watching the Palisades Tahoe webcams for the next 7-12 days! It's already blowin' around some on that 8200' platform!!!!! https://www.palisadestahoe.com/mountain-information/webcams
  13. Call in sick. Tell 'em its covid if you have to! This is serious! YOU GOT TO SEE THE SNOW!
  14. You should see whats about to slam into Palisades Tahoe beginning tomorrow afternoon! Snow snow and more snow!
  15. Wow Thursday Dale City is supposed to hit 80 degrees! That, is very very warm for you all at this time of year!
  16. That GFS 2m temperature looks like we were yesterday in Buda, TX, beautiful toasty 80 alongside a nice balmy dewpoint of 66!
  17. This past ice storm we suffered through down in south central Texas, we had 31 degree temps within a very shallow (1000 foot deep) layer of arctic air but freezing drizzle fell so hard for at least two days, that we ended up a sixteenth or two of an inch short of three quarter inch ice accretions. Many branches snapped, including one on an oak tree that was nearly a foot thick! I was out of power for 5 days. We also had a shower of moderate to heavy ZR that somehow accreted. We just couldnt buy latent heat release. When it rains, it pours supercooled water here in south Texas.
  18. OK this is off topic, but I just tested my bluetooth keyboard and mouse on my new 5G tablet for the 1st time. Got me one hell of a green light. Positive result!
  19. This post I made is ridiculous. I realize it deserves a billion hot dogs. But I want DC to be FebuBuried in snow. I used to live there. I know what it is to crave snow and get 50s all winter. I am pulling so hard for you guys to get snowed in its unbelievable. I'm crazy, but I just might be right. Weather's goin nuts these days. Anything's possible. If a crazy nut can forecast the DC weather, let a crazy nut forecast the DC weather. lmao Now lets see how many hot dogs this post gets. I love them New York Yankees hot dogs a lot, lets have about 7,000 of those.
  20. Dont forget the beer kegs and the IPA's. Lay in a damn good supply.
  21. That is very very bad, Here is to hoping the brunt of it smashes straight into the Washington Metropolitan Region delivering incredible amounts of snow. Better yet, a triple phaser that dumps record amounts of snow from Florida right up the eastern Seaboard into Maine, 100,000 year magnitude snows, particularly the Mid Atlantic. A HUGE TROWAL forms dumping torrential snows on the entire Mid Atlantic for five fun-filled days and DC gets a good taste of Tahoe and Alta. I am pulling hard for incredible snows and record vodka Siberian air in the Mid Atlantic, with 50s/60s in south central Texas. One frackin' thing is fo' sure! No one on here can ever call me a Deb.
  22. I hope everyone that gets the Covid recovers fully. I wish the very best for everyone who has had to go through covid.
  23. Dale City, Virginia and Buda, TX have one thing in common today: The high temperature and the low temperature in BOTH locations............................. are identical !!!!!! High 70, Low 46.
