This cold air senses my optimism as I declare that this will be the one-in-a-billion instance where everything works out and the system bombs out right over the Mid Atlantic and you all end up wishing you had a Tahoe-magnitude snowblower, because you'll get FEET of snow with this. My brother caught the mild strain too. Took him a few days to mostly get over it. I dont seem to get Covid. Been all around people with it, I think I might have Klingon antibodies. Hope you get better very soon. There might be a snowstorm on the horizon for you and the rest of the Mid Atlantic.

That upcoming storm, its going to snow HARD in the cities this go-around, and pile up into the bargain, but what I usta do back in The Day when I lived over there, was head west, Liberia to Rt 28 north to Rt 7 and on onto Rt 9 past Paeonian Springs, that place is magical! Snow gets HEAVY as fook up there! You get past the Hillsboro Ridge, it goes all-out major winter storm like up in Palisades Tahoe! Thing is, you get to enjoy massive snows maybe even get snowbound up there then hit the craps tables at Charles Town Races and Slots and walk away with ~10K dollars.

I still believe the Mid Atlantic will get a major snowstorm In Feb and/or Morch. I am pulling for you all to get three feet of snow, but all I ask is, please keep it the heck out of Texas.

WE FINALLY got our fooking power back on after 5-6 days! Its 73 outside now. I dont like winter while I am in Texas. I'm very sorry folks, but I am now a TEXAS WARMINISTA. However, I want Virginia to get buried in snow, and crave 50 feet of snow in Tahoe if I am there to experience it. BUT NOT IN BUDA. NO FRACKIN' WAY. Ice is horrible! We got five eighths of an inch of ice, nearly three quarters of an inch of ice! IT WAS NO FRACKIN FUN! I FROZE in that wretched COLD ICE HOUSE for days! I'm GLAD its 73/54! I wish it was 99/84!

Just took a measurement with a ruler. We have five-eighths of an inch of ice. Many huge oak branches have broken off. One damaged our front gate really bad.

Power still out, house temp about 47. Frz dz still falling, 32 degrees, ten big oak branches crashed down in past 12 hours. More frzra coming overnight, could see another quarter inch.

Freezing rain continues, no end in sight. I have never seen THIS MUCH FOOKIN ICE since I moved down here in August 2018. This is bad. The outdoor unit, the AC/Heating unit located outside, is making weird noise, because it is likely that the metal fan is getting more and more ice on it. This is now a DESTRUCTIVE ICE STORM, carrying very real potential for catastrophe here in south central Texas. Temp is 29, north winds are breezy with gusts to 27mph and wind chills into the lower teens and possibly into the single numbers.

Congrats on your snow, and you will see more big snowstorms. This winter is not done with the Mid Atlantic.

You're NO wannabe. That's a damned good forecast! Meanwhile, in other news, South Central Texas is 29 degrees with north winds bringing the wind chill down to 12 degrees. Freezing rain has become moderate and ice accretion is getting ridiculous. Radar has no discernible back edge and ice is piling up, even on road surfaces that previously were only wet. With all of the freezing rain on the way, this is going to be BAD as fook by rush hour Wed morning. I am going to write up my very own end days blizzard AFD. It's going to be a total catastrophe for the entire Mid Atlantic.
