This is highly unusual cold for south central Texas. All of my mom's plants are destroyed. We will have to start completely from scratch in March and April. It was frackin' COLD last night with 17 degree weather accompanied by northerly wind gusts over 30mph! DAMN THAT WAS COLD! I am not used to this anymore.

A couple days ago we had a very light glaze from freezing drizzle and even some very fine snow grains down here. This morning, it is extremely cold here, it is 12 degrees with a 7 degree dewpoint.
