In other news, South Central Texas is on track for the second record breaking drought year in a row. Forecasters say that we will be in mid summer furnace heat in 21 days. It may make 2011 look like The Day After Tomorrow down here. Every rainstorm is missing us and going either north, or south into the Golfo de Mexico. The rain is going anywhere but Buda. Grass is already turning brown. Forget crops. Everyone is moving down here for the jobs and the mild winters. Aquifer will be Sahara-dry in three years. After that, it will be Mad Max time, as everyone fights over hydro. I hate climate change. And, we're stuck with it.

They have snow nearly up to ROOFS in Mammoth Lakes! They are digging it with shovels! I love this! I wanna go up there and dig snow for months!

Are You Kidding Me?????????????????? 89 degrees for a high temp in Dale City?!!!!!!!! What on earth is going on? Your normal high is 65, your normal low is 44!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Boston hit 88 also, low 56. Norm for them is 53/39. Maybe we've hit a critical desalinization point. (AMOC slowdown potential).

I am pulling for the Mid Atlantic so hard for 2023-24 for heavy snow. Its gonna be a Brobdingnagian Nino, with frightening amounts of snow for DCA next winter! I hold out eternal hope and optimism for heavy snow in the DC Metropolitan Region in 2023-24!

One more thing, I am in LOVE with something called INTERLODGE. I adore it. The only thing I like more than interlodge, is the snow itself, especially when it is deep, getting blown around by 100 mph Sierran windfields, and coming down at highly excessive rates, with Brobdingnagian sized aggregates.

The incoming Nino will be unprecedented. I want to be DROWNED in rain in Texas for seven years, I demand a total californication of Buda in terms of too much rain and I want Palisades to get 2000 inches of snow in one season. I'd like to see all the western ski resorts get punked out with 2000 inches of snow all up and down the western seaboard! I want to watch Will Paden get all punked out from digging his shack on KT-22 out of meters of snow covering it, MULTIPLE TIMES in 23-24. poor Paden could barely handle the digging THIS SEASON!. I think the snow digging handled Paden. He's on the Palisades ski patrol lol.

I am really, REALLY bummed out right now. Help! Palisades is melting! Its 47 degrees there right now and the snowpack has gone down a whole foot already! It'll be GONE by May 10!

Can not resist, because I know all too well you will surpass Texas in rainfall, but right now Dale City is 7.40 for the year and Buda is 10.40 for the year!

You should visit Texas sometime, its been spring down here for a while, sweet smelling flowers everywhere and you should see our Texas Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrushes!

A new three foot drift has formed on the 8200 foot level at Palisades! Wind is really blowing that new snow all over the place! People are really gonna be shredding pow pow today on the slopes! Gonna be a lot of great stashes to be found! As of 1103am PST - this is a later edit - There are now dual drifts, I repeat , there are now two 3 foot drifts on the 8200' level, Snow is pouring down at Palisades and the drifts are building as the wind piles the snow up, and a lot more of the snow is coming down! https://www.palisadestahoe.com/mountain-information/webcams Palisades really is a snow lovers' Paradise!
