Mid Atlantic is about to get pummeled by serious snow rates! I'm a goin out on a limb here. I know this son of a biotch is rotten and its cracking right now and I am one heavy son of a bytch for drinking too many IPAs, but I say NWS issue WSWs for 5-7 inches. The branch is breaking but I know how to fall, I fell lots of times on the damn ice trying to dance like Michael Jackson because I was so happy during an EPIC ice jebwalk! Just Do It, NWS!

Here in south central TX, northerly winds are blowing increasing freezing drizzle sideways past the streetlights. Wood steps outside are treacherous as heck! Still 19 degrees. May even be some very fine sleet pellets getting mixed in as well. Radar is showing increasing coverage of the freezing precipitation.

It's 19/14 outside with freezing drizzle. It is getting on everything. This place is going to turn into a world-class ice skating rink worthy of the Winter Olympics. Austin NWS office may be considering placing us under both a winter storm warning and a wind chill warning in the next 24 hours. Looks like both frzra and sleet with isentropic overrunning. This will be no time for a jebwalk.

I can tell you from experience that getting reaped is exhilarating! I should have called for ending winter years ago!
