  2. 411 hospitalizations in Erie county now. We're almost double the last waves hospitalizations. Any website to see if this is putting strain on hospital systems yet? Flu season is in full swing as well.

  4. Yeah, I'm not sure I agree with them. I think at end of month we are around average temps.
  5. The winds in the high peaks are insane. Also found this researching high winds up there. As temperatures dropped across the Northeast from the blast of a polar vortex, the wind chill at Whiteface, near Lake Placid, made it feel like a body- and mind-numbing minus 114 degrees late Saturday and into Sunday. Central Park could only muster a minus 1 degree. Can you imagine hiking up there that day?? You would literally just die lol https://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/upstate-ny-mountain-hits-110-degrees-wind-chill-summit-article-1.2531580
  6. The weekend storm doesn't even matter. It's almost all rain, airmass blows.
  7. Some good news for Erie County small business $19 million flowing to small businesses from Covid-19 relief program https://buffalonews.com/news/local/19-million-flowing-to-small-businesses-from-covid-19-relief-program/article_2c03740e-332e-11eb-b499-77ddd5d018aa.html
  8. Some New York state and Erie county data.
  9. That's only from Feb-Sep. If you include Oct/Nov what are we looking at 80-100 million infections?
  10. Every model shows 6-10" of snow for my area the next 10 days. I'll take the under.
  11. Part of the PV near Hudson bay on latest GFS. @Thinksnow18
  12. It's spreading quickly around here. Quite a few people I know have confirmed infections. I didn't know anyone with it all summer.
  13. I think we're running 50/50 for above average snow the last 10 years in hamburg. 5 above 5 below.
  14. Yeah that was a really good year for you guys due to that 1 lake snow event. It hit here too, but south of buffalo and most of the lake was frozen. Buffalo had around 88" that year.
  15. I think it has to do with the rapid warming of the waters off of Maine. It's warming quicker than almost any place on the planet.
  16. Yeah. You either need some help from the Pacific or some Atlantic blocking. - EPO or -NAO. If you get both, you get the truly epic events.
