This is the first regular season game I’m seeing, having just returned from traveling abroad. Ravens do not look good at all. Scoring 37 points per game and a 1-2 record? Something stinks.

Bad call on 4th and 1. Gives KC a good chance to add points before halftime, starting at Ravens 40.

Keeping track from Greece at 6am Tuesday. Haven’t seen a game yet but reading comments and watching text update play-by-plays, Ravens sound/appear awful so far.

Traveling thru Turkey for 2-1/2 weeks before heading further south to the Greece island of Samos. Talk about dry: 10 days ago in Istanbul it rained some. First rain there since May. Just my luck. Probably no more than 1/4”. 90 or higher every day there but nice cool nights 50s/60s by the time I reached Cappadocia region. Soot in the air, haze, and it just hangs along the mountains. Now am more south toward Greece in Selcuk, again no rain and 95 or better each day. You can almost taste the dust. Worst part is I can’t watch three Ravens games. Even if I could have watched the Bills game (and am glad I missed it) …. it started at 3am Monday here.

Into my 2nd week in Turkey. Today 96 and dry in Selcuk, was 99 yesterday. Wet, washed jeans completely dried on outside clothesline in less than 4 hours.

In Istanbul currently. Very dry, hi 80s. Just like home! (sorta)

On east side of Columbia …. had a trace around 9:30pm. Enough to wetten down grass etc. I could see the edge of the main cell and the intense lightning to my NE. And loud thunder, before everything headed away. Probably missed me by no more than 5 miles or so.

Good quality sounding booms off to my north (from Columbia). Also some building cumulus at sunset in N&NW skies. Radar has something to the north, heading SE-ward so it could be a good hit …. or a swing and a miss. Will know shortly.
