Columbia: 0.20" late this afternoon in downpour in my ‘hood.

Columbia 4/30/25, 8am. Already shorts-appropriate temps outside. Def had rain overnight but 0.00” in the gauge. Plants and grass nicely watered however.

Recent modeling seemed to predict two distinct lines of convective activity. With 2nd line coming thru C Md into mid-evening altho gradually weakening. This seems to have verified pretty well so far.

A few days in Middletown NY. 3” snow Saturday with icing overnight. Had to chip out the cars today. Melting water falling from gutters but trees holding on to ice very well. 31° at 2pm. Area’s snow odds for the Wed-Thurs storm took a beating overnight so mild bummer for friends.
