i'm going to shut all the blinds and curtains as soon as it starts because it will melt eventually and so the start of any storm is the end of any enjoyment.

100% on the weather sisters. the old DC-ish crew from when I lived in DC. my "new" I-81 buddies. and a few people from outside the region who still stop by because they also remember the one giant forum days.
this is my 21st year with this crazy community.
the first one was about 45-60 minutes before the line came through and the second one was after we'd settled back to sleep after the squall, lol.

phone wx alert about an hour ago woke us up, then the squall woke us up when the power briefly went out. everything is covered.
it was pretty impressive with nearly whiteout conditions.
