finally a thunderstorm overhead and it's raining. today's high was 94.

a storm missed me to the north, but it was still really loud. no rain and currently 82 from a high of 96.

3 thunderstorms last night, the last one at 2:30 am with heavy rain and super intense lightning, too. i’ll have to check the rain total but it’s been a wet few days out here—good.

storm grew right overhead. torrential rain and some wind. I'm out of propane but had decided to put off getting more. looks like it was the right decision, lol.

the bottom part is spinning counterclockwise and the clouds above are spinning clockwise. not great photos because it’s not visible from the first floor.

i can see the area of rotation. it’s been rotating for a while and looks like it’s forming a small wall cloud.

i’m just on the eastern edge of the warned storm in Jefferson County. the wind sounded like a freight train for a bit. i’m happy to be fringed.

we had one shower last week, otherwise it's been bone dry as the storms have missed my backyward by (literally) a mile. storms are popping now but i doubt I'll get any rain. maybe tomorrow. 71/62 with a high of 74.
