    100% on the weather sisters. the old DC-ish crew from when I lived in DC. my "new" I-81 buddies. and a few people from outside the region who still stop by because they also remember the one giant forum days. this is my 21st year with this crazy community.

    the first one was about 45-60 minutes before the line came through and the second one was after we'd settled back to sleep after the squall, lol. Martinsburg gusted to 43.

    phone wx alert about an hour ago woke us up, then the squall woke us up when the power briefly went out. everything is covered. it was pretty impressive with nearly whiteout conditions.

    Martinsburg gusted to 60 overnight. i can’t remember another night since i moved to WV where the end howled like that at night.

    high of 52 a few hours ago, now 47. Martinsburg airport gusted to 56 last hour and yes, the power did flicker. i hate this stupid, useless wind.

    we had a little sleet, then a little freezing rain, and then some spotty rain, and now it's just cold and dry. I'm happy not to have the ice.

    1.5”—a nice surprise. temp down to 23 and the drifting snow has covered the roads.

    coating on grass and cars and the neighbors left their Christmas lights on—so pretty.

    it's been flurrying for a few hours and now there is a burst of light snow. the cats had forgotten about snow and are in the windows investigating.

    rain to sleet to freezing rain to rain. if there was snow to start I didn't see it because I didn't bother to get out of bed to check when it started.

    happy thanksgiving from off the coast of America where my snow weenie spouse is tracking the snow chances for next week, lol.

    it did. it's only clouded up in the last 30 minutes.

    KMRB's low was 21.9 which is now the coldest night so far this fall.

    clouds are thicker here now but the pink is still coming through the clouds. maybe tomorrow night will be better.
