    NWS is calling for 4-8” but we’re under an Advisory. I would think that gets bumped up to a WSW no?

    I had the heat shut off. It was warm in here. You don’t expect 74 degrees in the middle of December.

    Already getting whipping winds around my parts. Had to put some outdoor stuff away because, you know, it’s mid-December. If it’s already kicking like this at noon, I’m sure things are gonna be interesting after sundown.

    The wind is ridiculous right now. I’m topping 40mph on gusts easily right now. Every freaking week, another wind event. I’m so tired of it but I know it’s going nowhere.

    2 random observations: I can’t believe there are still leaves on the trees, mid-to-late November and I can’t believe I mowed my lawn the same day we put up our Christmas tree.

    Driving home from work about 45 minutes ago, car said it was 32. Didn’t really feel like 32, there is zero breeze, but that’s the coldest temp I’ve seen this Fall.

    I’m just surprised. It was calm all day and there was no weather like this forecasted. First gust really caught me off guard. It’s funny (and typical) because it’s pretty gusty and I got these idiots in my neighborhood blowing off fireworks.

    Guessing the system is finally pulling away because I’m getting my biggest gusts now. 40mph range.

    Winds have subsided significantly so maybe my lol was a little premature. Precip has completely stopped, but it is muggy as hell. Uncomfortable, even.

    Winds do seem to be subsiding a bit, maybe because that pivot you guys spoke of is in the process of starting (guessing winds picked up in the last hour because that was the end of that band of precip) but I’m already thinking NWS is downplaying these winds. Max gusts on their forecast for the afternoon is “only” 30mph, and I would say we already topped that. Then only calling for 36mph gusts for tonight/early am? I don’t buy that. Again, thanks for all the info, it’s much appreciated.
