  1. Obviously not everybody feels the same way but I'm willing to go 5-10 winters (we essentially have the past 5) of nothing if I can experience a 24+ hecs.
  2. Looks like the majority of us will be on the warmer wide of things through new years. Atleast I got so see some decent rates this morning.
  3. Snowing pretty decently and rgem hinting at some decent banding setting up along 59. Guess it's better than nothing.
  4. Im as big of a snowlover as anyone but you get used to the disappointment. It's also been nice to be a snowbird and not be around for the recent years of boredom. Perhaps you need to get away from the cold for a bit if you can.
  5. We're just messing around Josh. No need to pull out the fake swear words lol. Keep doing you. Don't let us bring you down...
  6. Guess we won't be seeing y'all until after new years then...
  7. You're better off just ignoring it. If you engage, Josh will turd polish you into submission until you tap out. Lions could use him on the defense.
  8. The ole vanishes by time it reaches michigan clipper.
  9. Maybe not down there but it poured the 15 min drive to the gym this morning. But to stay positive we know things can change quickly and snow can sometimes breed more snow so long ways to go. It would be nice though to get off to a good start once in awhile.
  10. More pouring rain, fresh off 2 useless days with highs in the teens. What a shit winter so far.
  11. obviously a long ways away but the euro is close to a phase for early next weekend.
  12. Areas in and around my cottage in Bellaire/Mancelona have 25-30 inches on the ground right now. While its impressive, it doesn't get me as excited as when it snows down here in the metro area. Also it's not rare for that area to get lake effect but usually its more towards the lake that gets these bigger amounts, and not so much around Bellaire over to gaylord
  13. Obviously taken with a grain of salt but the foreseeable future it looks like systems tracking through the Upper Midwest, a stronger one comes through, then it's suppression/east coast track/repeat. All while we sit in between with mist/rain.
  14. Come Monday, it'll all be gone and you'll join the rest of us with a bare brown ground. Sure lake effect is fun but system snow hits different.
  15. Never been more grateful to be in Florida the next few days. No snowcover and high temps in the low 20's. gross
  16. I think January we had almost 40 inches of snow, the most we've gotten in a month ever.
  17. Short memories and once you get a taste, you want more. Some people just gotta deal with weenies bitching and whining during slow weather times.
  18. Man I felt it in my gut in 2013 that I probably wouldn't witness another epic winter like it again. It felt like the roads were snow covered and iced over all winter. Here we are 11 years later and no winter has come close...
  19. Go outside and film while debris goes flying past you, screaming and swearing ruining the video.
  20. Atleast it looks reasonably warm in the coming weeks. It seems we either get cold and suppression or se Ridge flexes it's muscles and it's congrats those west of the lakes.
  21. Obviously you have a better memory than me but I feel like we've had more brown winters than white the last 10 years.
  22. The city may have barely by less than an inch in 2020 but here north of the city we haven't. But as you said it's been zzzz.
  23. Yea I'm weird, lake effect is cheating snow. I'm talking mainly system snow and the detroit area. Up here north of detroit, we haven't hit our december avg of snow in 6 winters.
