Now that everyone has seen a snowstorm, let's pray for an early spring.

6” final of snow and ip. Congrats to folks who caught the big one. Not easy to do this winter. I thought it was going to cut but instead it bucked the seasonal trend and gave you guys a winter parting gift.

8” final. Missed the real meat as extreme sw areas saw 20”. Winds were light so no drifting issues.

Doesn’t look like the Reggie is buying the se shift. Of course what he’s been buying lately isn’t worth much.

When towns in the Northwest that never get much of a winter, get dumped on, that tells you all you need to know about the crappy situation the Northeast is in. They snow, we don't.

I love how all the pieces on the chessboard are moving around just perfectly to screw the northeast out of a snowstorm. Not an easy feat to accomplish especially for an entire winter. I tip my cap.

I like the look of the 12z GFS actually. Fits the theme of the winter perfectly. Secondary develops over SNE then tracks through the gulf of Maine into New Brunswick. Just like most of the others have. Lock it up.

Just out of curiosity if you took the last 10 winters for say Boston, including this one if it ends as is, averaged them out, you’d still be at or above seasonal no?

Always a storm at day 10...lol. One of the rare winters I wished the models only went out to day 5.

If the early season outlooks by all the pro and amateur weenies had said this season will probably suck, it would be easier to take where we are now. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Instead we had everyone and their dog beating there chests and pushing above average snow for the masses (some like 200% above). When things looked shaky to start, instead of caution flags, the LR guys doubled down and said it was delayed not denied. Hopes are more deflated than they otherwise would be. Oh well, a rat was due so might as well get it over with.

YHZ 20cm(8”) total sn/ip. I had 6” at my place. Atleast it looks like winter again.

Normally it would be prudent to wait until you see the whites of it's eyes before locking anything in. This year I'd say wait until smell it's breath...lol
