Still a much better season compared to last year for you. Just looking at long range, seems we stay on the right side of the gradient. This could be a good winter for Atlantic Canada if it holds.
Yeah I thought obs for YYT would be more impressive. Still a strong winter storm with respectable accumulations. Interestingly YQY is reporting almost 16”. Way outdid the forecast for eastern NS especially Cape Breton.
Thinking 6” here. Riding the line for something more. Nick should double that easy. Winter storm conditions with strong winds most of NS. Blizzard conditions for YYT. Active times in the maritimes.
Yeah I noticed a bit of a late trend to tuck this in closer to me. Not sure I buy that yet. Need another round of guidance. Complex storm and deep too. Mid 80’s at my latitude. Low 60’s upper 50’s for you. That’s beastly.
Me thinks St. Nick is going to get crushed. I’m riding the line. Need the storm to come together sooner. Right now it doesn’t fire on all cylinders until it reaches Newfoundland. Still some time to fine tune.
Yup I saw that but i bet you'll end up ok. This will not go down as the euro's best performance. Those swings inside day 3 are not helpful and they are pretty big adjustments.
Yes we do. I’m itching for a nice blowing and drifting snowstorm. Maybe this will be it. Been a while here since I had one. Snow has been of the wet and sloppy kind lately.
I hate to say it but the German was kinda first to sniff out this flattening trend. I’ve been following this system for a few days now since I wasn’t in the game for much wintery weather out of the current storm. Every model can find a nut at some point.
Nice to see a possible storm actually start trending better as we get closer vs the usual worse trend. Hope it keeps going in that direction. Still work to be done.
