  1. I’m just not quite grasping the evolution of this. Is Zeta part 1 and ULL part 2? The whole thing looks rather mundane for having tropical energy injected into it. I guess if zeta stays a separate entity and exits stage right, it would tug the other along. I figured they would consolidate better. I gotta see this play out. Good setup to miss out on. Oh well winter is saved atleast. #NovaScotiaStrong
  2. 18z ggem precip panel. #NovaScotiaStrong
  3. Models are still jockeying for position. One takes an amped look, then falls back. Then another model jumps on the amped train. Will be fun to watch this play out. When’s the next time in your life are you going to see snow from a s/w that interacts with a hurricane...a hurricane named Zeta. Saviour what this setup. #NovaScotiaStrong
  4. Ggem is pretty amped too. Definitely a couple of camps going on. #NovaScotiaStrong
  5. Reggie looks aggressive. At the end of its range of course #NovaScotiaStrong
  6. I had a feeling this window of time would produce something. Maybe this will be the start of a big season. #NovaScotiaStrong
  7. So does having tropical moisture entrained in this make this a different kind of animal? #NovaScotiaStrong
  8. I don’t think this comes out flat like the gfs implies. Not sure how amped it gets though. Quite the squeeze play with the confluence north. Tricky #NovaScotiaStrong
  9. Looks like we may put the myth to the test. Drum beats getting louder on this one. #NovaScotiaStrong
  10. So that forecast was for the peaks in yeti country? Impressive amounts none the less. #NovaScotiaStrong
  11. What’s the seasonal snowfall accumulation for that place? Must be in the thousands of inches if they can grab 2 hundos in like 24 hours. #NovaScotiaStrong
  12. Halloween period still in play. We watch. #NovaScotiaStrong
  13. Epsi looking pretty darn good for a late season hurricane at that latitude. #NovaScotiaStrong
  14. That small window near Halloween bares watching for something wintery. It’s been on and off guidance for a few days now. Long ways out but could offer a shot. Then of course the winter goes to hell after (if the myth is true) #NovaScotiaStrong
  15. That’s a tasty storm track. Hopefully that is a precursor for the winter. One can dream anyway. #NovaScotiaStrong
  16. Para gfs with a wintercane. I’d love to see this happen. Weenie dream run. #NovaScotiaStrong
  17. That’s quite the gale per the 12z gfs as depicted. Eyes to the south again. #NovaScotiaStrong
  18. I like how it’s not just below normal red, it’s snowball chance in hell red...lol. #NovaScotiaStrong
  19. A bit early but golf season is over. Antigonish NS this morning. And so it begins. #NovaScotiaStrong
  20. Finally some good news in 2020. I’ll take a strong nor’easter over a cane no problem. Maybe Teddy will become a further shell of its former self. Still expecting some amazing waves. I’m gonna try to get near the coast to see it myself. Depending on conditions and road closures.(Authorities like to keep gawkers at away. For good reason) #NovaScotiaStrong
  21. Hurricanes at this latitude can do funny things. Lots parts interacting and coming apart with potentially explosive results. #NovaScotiaStrong
  22. Going to be interesting how Teddy interacts with that trough. To sling that nw at such high latitude will take some forcing. Dull roar from the local media so far. No alarm bells sounding yet. If nothing changes track wise I suspect later this weekend will be hoping as panic hits. #NovaScotiaStrong
  23. Sooo not really bad. Just maybe kinda not good?
  24. It’s coming. Time to do some prep work before the public gets wind of the threat. Didn’t have damaging cane strike on my 2020 bingo card. Darn it. #NovaScotiaStrong
