WB latest extended GEFS 7 day period centered around Christmas. Pretty amazing and rare if this indeed verifies.

The low position shifted closer to the coast this GEFS run. Not sure why the snow mean did not go up.. maybe that is why they are called clown maps…

SW part of Frederick County where I live has glaze on trees but roads are just wet. Definitely an underperformer here….which is good. Not a freezing rain fan.

WB 6Z GEFS…hopefully by Monday there will be consensus. This is under 8 days now. At least we don’t have a trend toward a cutter.

WB 6 GFS is trending in the right direction….WB 6Z yesterday compared to today. No surface low like EURO. Let’s see what GEFS says…

We definitely have cold air to work with late next week unlike today.

We don’t have a final solution yet but have to like the trend since 0Z yesterday….pretty stark contrast. WB 0Z EURO last night 1 day anomaly compared to tonight for late next week.
