    Starting to get there here in Loudoun. I have bouncing between 86 and 88 for a while now.. Many places just to my south have maintained 87 to as high as 90..so borderline.. All about the sunshine though, and it has been sporadic

    88 hot and humid sticky degrees outside today! YUCK! DP shows 79 - So thick out there! If I move too fast feel I may cause a contrail! LOL!

    Sun has popped out here in Purcellville...so far I have. 0.58 I. The last 23 hours. Maybe some instability will bring some more showers and storms.

    So far fringes in Nova. Trajectory not great for the rain shadow here in western Loudoun. Will need fresh development lee side to get anything, and I am a bit south too,. Maryland is lighting up quick!

    .03 inches of precipitation in the last 24 hours. We did have .24 inches Monday. Only .64 inches since June 22nd. Purcellville is super dry! We will see if we get more rain today! Weeds are thriving!

    Just hot 90 degrees! 9 am! This is just craziness! I am gonna say that I suspect my thermometer may be 1 to 2 degrees high, but, so what when it gets this hot!

    Pretty interesting night for temps. Just after 2am I hit a low of 75. We then had some westerly winds kick in an this raised temperatures to 84 degrees at about 4:30 am. The winds have calmed and Temps are falling again as I am sitting at 80. Pretty wild.

    61 degree low was so refreshing. When the dews came down I just realized how much I hate the high dew points even more. Have a great Sunday everyone

    Out here, just southwest of Purcellville, I am sitting at 1.58 inches of rain for the last 31 days! The storm two nights ago dumped almost an inch of rain less than 1 mile from my home! Yesterday, the storms literally split around me and I ended up with .04" . I submitted the information to the Climate office. Meanwhile, friends of mine in the eastern part of Loudoun saw 8+ inches of rain in June and over 3 inches the last week! I have brown grass and a dusty dry yard!

    Seeing 92 on my weather station! Heat indexes bouncing between 95 and 96.. HOT one!

    33.1 for a low in Purcellville, and the coldest windchill was 22 at about 6:15 am. Impressive for this time of year. Potential sprinkles ane flurries in the forecast. Brrr
