  1. when do we get into a drier pattern lol.
  2. The game is about more than sacks though, you have to look at things like points allowed per game.
  3. CMC has been doing better since its upgrade.
  4. 1986 Giants? I don't think so. LT is worth more than all the players put together.
  5. Yeah Kelcie needs to face some of those 80s kind of hard hitting defenses lol. Either way, they're going to get humbled by the Bengals next week-- they've lost 3 in a row to them?
  6. Giants would have been blown out by any of the other 3 teams that made it to this round.
  7. It's that style of play I find annoying. It's going to be Eagles and Bengals in the SB, both teams are steamrolling their opponents.
  8. Either of these teams would have lost to the Eagles anyway
  9. I'm a traditional pocket passer kind of fan. I don't like QBs who run around (like Aaron Rodgers too.)
  10. You guys can't stand the Eagles....I'm meh on them, because I don't really care about the NFC East as long as the Cowboys lose. The team I really hate right now are the Chiefs. Mahomes is a bit of a clown in the way he plays I wish there was someone like LT in the league right now to just level him.
  11. Elevated areas should definitely see some accumulation. This isn't an inside runner like the next storm is (the one that is supposedly bringing that hypothetical "snow" to NYC lol). It could be a plowable event from the Poconos to NW NJ.
  12. The best indication of no cold air on our side of the globe is to have a consistently negative AO and highs are still in the 40s during the supposedly coldest time of the year.
  13. I shudder to think what Victor Cruz's TD salsa dancing did to you lol.
  14. There's also a climatic reality that ever since I've been tracking storms, this kind of scenario has always underproduced lol.
  15. It's possible a coating could still be a T especially if it's only on colder surfaces. Here on the south shore of Long Island in SW Nassau it only accumulated on cartops and rooftops and JFK also measured a T
  16. and no place within a 30 min drive that has things you can do right (outside of skiing that is.)
  17. Probably better than the Monticello I was going to recommend lol
  18. I was looking for a place to post this and this seems like as good a place as any. I saw a fascinating documentary about ball lightning and why scientists were so skeptical about it for so long. It really can't be replicated in the lab for any long duration-- they do reproduce the ball but it lasts for a vanishingly small amount of time before it disappears. But they got the ultimate embarassment when a ball of lightning passed right through an airplane which contained scientists returning from a convention, it literally passed right down the aisle and from the nose of the plane right out the back. Now they couldn't be skeptical of it any longer. THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS NOT EVERYTHING THAT OCCURS IN NATURE IS REPRODUCIBLE IN A LAB..... SOME THINGS CAN'T BE EXPLAINED BY SCIENCE AND WE HAVE TO BE COMFORTABLE WITH THAT. NATURE >>>>> SCIENCE
  19. My friends in Germany have told me they have not seen a single snowflake fall in Berlin and the Alps are barren of snow with only small patches in Austria and Switzerland where people are being sent to the ER because they are "skiing" on small patches of snow and getting severely injured (as in dislocated spine injuries!) These are the same places that had historic heat over the summer. On the plus side the problems they could have faced with a cold winter and fuel shortages have not materialized.
  20. That definitely looks like a rose floating in the sky.
  21. Yeah this is like taking a perfect game into the sixth inning.....
  22. below freezing? it will have to be below freezing for any snow to stick
  23. I don't lol, there is no arctic air (and you will need that this year to get any real snow) and this storm is a Lakes Cutter with very marginal temps, wet snow quickly changing to rain .....
  24. I sense that you don't believe in a magical measureable snowfall event on Wednesday either.
  25. It's not even going to go below freezing ..... where is this magical snow going to come from? You may see snowflakes in the air but nothing will accumulate unless it's the same coating we saw with all the other events. And did you see the track of that storm-- it's a Lakes Cutter! At some point we have to stop looking at models and acknowledge reality.
