  1. Saw something strange in the sky last night (bad photo I know - upper band in this is the lower band, ignore cloud below) in Royal Oak MD, photo taken facing west. Went outside after dinner, probably a little after 8 pm and saw what looked like 2 contrails, one right above the other. Lower was more dense and above one lighter and taller (didn’t show up in photo). Then we noticed that they never moved/drifted. Went out to dock to a get a better view and saw that each kept its shape/density and seemed to curve like a halo from each edge of horizon. It finally all faded after about 2 hours. Any one have any ideas as to what this could have been?

  9. Spotted a Red-Tailed Hawk's nest a couple blocks from home while walking the dog. Incubation 28-35 days; young stay in nest 42-46 days - so something to entertain us during this nightmare
  10. Basically do the same. Left the mail in a box for about 5 days - then finally looked at it and found 4 pieces from DC gov regarding the unemployment benefits I filed. Except I didn’t file so dealing with identity fraud for the second time. No one returns any calls from DC Employment office (know they’re swamped). Bank notified and still have credit alert active from the first fraud attempt. Didn’t need the extra anxiety.
  11. Have friends in Charleston (Old Mount Pleasant close to Shem Creek) that aren't evacuating. They're at 7 ft above sea level. Can't seem to convince them to go...
