  1. Ahhh " The Costanza " approach I LIKE IT
  2. Stormlover , I think you understood what I was saying = If you believe that the the Euro and for that matter any other model is nailing this 7 days and 168 hrs out ( and I will give you that it " might" be ) when there is still so much uncertainty and yet to be determined then I guess we can all log off right now and go Christmas shopping. I am fairly certain that the Euro at 120 or 144hrs will look different than it did on the last run ( it might even look completely different on it's next run ) If the Euro was showing us an " L " directly over the benchmark right now I would be saying the exact same thing.
  3. I would rather be anywhere other than the bullseye ( BTW where's the bullseye emoji ) right now with 7 days to go as we all know that the final solution will look nothing like what the models are showing right now = time will tell
  4. Gravity, I can tell you that he is definitely NOT leaving today so she might be stuck overnight regardless if you want to send a picture of her I am sure that might sway him lol. Regardless I hope she gets home ok.
  5. Thanks Rob, appreciate it and I know my kid gets the local updates ( Buffalo ) That said the Dolphins were playing in warm L A against the Chargers last week and tomorrow night they are in Orchid Park = Big advantage Bills. Again thanks for the updates Rob and others
  6. Thanks for the updates and checking in ladies and gents as my kid was going to drive home ( we are in Rockland County ) from Buffalo today but I told him that he best stay put until tomorrow. Keep the reports coming in much appreciated
  7. I am surprised that this thread is not getting more action as it is literally game time. Like many of you I am curious to see if the colder modeled solutions come to fruition or was the GFS always on crack ?
  8. IF u no like you will have to wait a few months for Spring but until then enjoy NYC- going with 50 " but with any luck = plus EWR- 43" MMU-44" ISP - 38" SWF- 36"
  9. Let me know what exactly it "depends " upon ? = as I said Im traveling by car down 95 in this case now I will be traveling up 95
  10. Do any of you know of a decent weather app or site for traveling down I 95 ? I check out this site often and look and read through all of the forums here but that will be hard to do while driving ---let me know thanks in advance, I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving
  11. geez could we really see snow before Halloween ? Might happen-----again
  12. Niece is at school in Orlando ,,I know the track is still up in the air but ,thoughts on how bad this is gonna be there,,,I want her to head to the east coast to stay with Grandparents near del Ray ,,,,,,,but not sure what the right move is as the storm track is not written in stone ? Again what do u guys think
  13. Very warm waters with little or no shear = this storm is going to blow up. IMO the only thing that can remotely slow it down is a direct hit with Cuba and most of the guidance thus far does not show a direct hit. So when I said " no you are not " I was agreeing. Now back to Ian
  14. Little or no shear and water as warm as your bathtub,,,,,,,98L needs to be watched for good reason IMO it is only a matter of time
  15. Thanks SRR and I wish I had seen this post sooner because I decided to NOT go to my event and I was kicking myself as I could have gotten it in,,,,,I was unsure and thought it might rain much earlier but you were correct it rained after 11
  16. God knows we could use the rain but I was going to attend an outside event tonight but looks like Thunderstorms and rain are in my future,,,drats drats and double drats lol
  17. It poured here earlier and I just took the doing out for a walk and it is warm and sticky outside
