  1. Meh. Seems to have same outcome as gfs, albeit a bit more frozen precip. .
  2. Dont worry too much. Gfs cant get 2 days out correct let alone next 10 .
  3. It already has, no? Last run kind of showed what gfs just did with the two waves giving us scraps/nothing .
  4. Looking at any snow totals 60+ hours removed is a fools errand .
  5. Can we change the title of the thread to “February 11-12: yet another rug pull?” .
  6. Anyone been out and about? Im a teacher and have been puking since 11pm. Hoping schools close so i dont need to deal with sub plans. .
  7. Gfs flips any frozen to rain before dawn. Earlier than its previous runs. .
  8. I dont think ive ever seen as much sleet/ice show up on the models as I have the last two days. .
  9. Either way, stupid to look at this stuff and get excited unless it is three days or so from go time. Anything more than that and it is a rug pull. Everytime. .
  10. Yea id say that seems to be just a tad overdone. .
  11. Precipitation out of dc metro area around 6 though. Probably allows schools to just go with a delay rather than a closure. .
  12. Low 60s today in dc metro. And accumulating ice over night on Wednesday? I am doubtful of any impacts. .
  13. GFS model was too cold for first event, I think? Northern areas really underperformed and there was less snowfall due to warmer temps. I think the ice is being overdone by gfs. .
  14. Nam has frozen stuff out of dc metro before dawn. .
  15. Overnight wed into thursday. Most models showing freezing rain around 7am. Transitioning to rain around 8 or so. If models are under-doing CAD, it could be an icy mess for commute. .
  16. I hope not. Just want a two delay. Will be all rain by 8am, no? .
