    Just going to accept we are the new south carolina for snow. It rarely happens. Dc metro simply not very good for snow. Global warming has made it worse. What used to be 5-6 inches of snow is now cold rain thanks to a few degrees difference. I have thrown in the towel. .

    Cold and dry. Wet and 37 degrees. That has been this winter. Bring on 60 degrees temps and longer days. Get us to an el nino next winter. .

    Why do the models always spit out ridiculous snowfall amounts? 95% of the time the depicted snow amounts disappear. The models are dreadful in this regard. .

    I am mad at the models! The amount of digital snow they show for mid Atlantic that bust… something needs to be tweaked. .

    Someone argued with me a while back that this does happen… we go from no snow on the models to snow. I dont think i have seen it? [emoji2369]. However, we always lose digital snow. .

    WSW for deep creek. Driving up tomorrow morning and should get in around 12. Going to stock up on steaks and booze snd enjoy it from the hot tub. Looking like blizzard conditions right around the time the ball drops! .

    Im just cursed. In Kutztown, PA for the holidays and also on the edge of decent snowfall here. 20 miles northwest and id be sitting pretty. Instead, looking like an inch followed by sleet. .

    Mcps closing some upcounty schools (like damascus hs and baker ms) while keeping others just on the 2 hour delay. That is a first… i think. .
