  1. Use the cross section on GR and it looks like there's a decent hail core aloft.
  2. 3D slice of the Hagerstown cell would imply hail suspended to around 30,000 ft.
  3. The downside to this event is that we need the higher end potential to be realized. It's been hyped so much now that for this to bust would erode public trust.
  4. Next hour to hour and a half is key to get to convective temp. We seem to be running a few degrees too cool right now.
  5. Looking more and more like a wind risk day. Storms in WV just aren't maintaining any respectable rotation.
  6. Yea kind of wonder why so many people are worried about the tornado risk up towards DC.
  7. Looks like the cells firing in western MD and the WV panhandle are that lead cluster some of the CAMs were honing in on yesterday and this morning.
  8. Starting to wonder if they're going to go 30% tor or something.
  9. Discrete cell ahead of the main line in Charleston, WV. Already has "the look".
  10. Yea probably to coincide with the hatching on the meso
  11. Per the SPC mesoanalysis, we're losing convective inhibition pretty quickly. I'll be interested to see if we can hold off on any crapvection.
  12. Thursday could another active day, but let's focus on today first.
  13. Per the 12z sounding from IAD, today's convective temp is 90 degrees. We have a ways to go for heating if we want to maximize potential.
