  1. Like we all said, winter 2020 is done, that's it. No more snow for the next 8 months, if you're lucky.
  2. Most people I see have absolutely horrible hygiene, such as leaving the bathroom without washing their hands. Do you know how dirty those pinpads are at stores, and how filthy money is? Yet, I constantly see people eating right after they have touched these things. Proper hygiene means a lot, and I've always practiced it. Now all of the sudden there is mass panic and a shortage of products used to disinfect?
  3. It's time to give it up dude...over and done with.
  4. Right, and spring has turned out to be cool and wet for the last several years, March included.
  5. Yeah I noticed that on the NWS site. Curious how long it holds together.
  6. Well that's not bad compared to other areas. I'm barely over a foot. You and the HV folks cashed in on a lot of smaller events where I got nothing but maybe some flakes flying. Tomorrow is March, and next week turns wet and mild again. This winter has been such a disappointment, and that's coming from me, someone who lives for the heat of summer.
  7. Lol only 1 change in a 30000 day period.
  8. Lol get your sleep bud, not worth your health. This winter is done.
  9. IMO the mode is better suited for a situation such as trying to find what item at your candy shop sells the most. In terms of snow, it may not be the best. For example, imagine a city has the following snowfall amounts in the last 10 years...21, 21, 54, 36, 41, 45, 48, 33, 28, 39. Those two dud years would make the most common total 21 inches, whereas the average is 36 inches. The real problem though is that when seasonal totals are reported to the decimal, it would be even less likely that two years would repeat the same exact number.
  10. Without a doubt, crap weather right through May.
  11. If it weren't for that nice December event, I would only have a few inches...
  12. I noticed this year is bad for coughs and fevers. I had a fever for five days going back around the New Year. Lot of people sick this year, and the hygiene is terrible. People need to learn to cover better, and wash their hands after being in public spaces.
  13. Yeah, and not to mention it's an interesting name choice lol.
  14. @MJO812 Why the name change? Snow88 was a classic.
  15. If it keeps up, this winter will make last year look great.
  16. I don't have the stats for my area in particular, but that is still BN. Late December '17 into January '18 had a decent stretch of cold, and as bad as last year was, January featured more arctic air. Next week we welcome February with the potential to see 50 or higher for several days.
  17. The thing that amazes me is the lack of cold highs. January should "always" have some days where highs lock in the 20's, especially in NW Jersey. It's like the opposite of summer where we don't have crazy highs but warm lows.
  18. I think it's because the winds were very strong like Cp mentioned, and they already had snow on the ground too.
  19. You could always take a loan out on a used car for a smaller amount too if building credit is the goal. That's what I typically do, never bought new. As for brand, I love Ford. The Ecoboost is good from what I hear, but I've only had the 5.0 V8.
  20. Yeah not a place I'd want to be under any circumstances.
  21. Gotta be either Sierra Nevada or Cascades. Need a heck of a moisture feed for that. Way more than we get in an entire season over a three day period, insane.
  22. Flagstaff has a very interesting climate and beautiful scenery. For that matter, I'm a fan of the western U.S. in general. My dilemma would be choosing what "landscape" to live near. I like Montana and being in foothills of the Rockies, yet at the same time the high elevation parts of Arizona and New Mexico are intriguing too.
  23. Lol, yeah I agree. I'm just one of those technical people that likes it perfect. Just like the misconception that the solstice means that sunset is the earliest of the year.
  24. Lmao, then I must add you to my ignore list. No but all jokes aside, I personally hate the meteorological standard. Our seasons are not determined by the calendar.
  25. March 7. My area cashed in on some major rates. Best I've ever seen. January 2016 was an impressive storm here too.
