  1. Usually May is our ticket to good weather. March is when we get a hint of some warmth (next week for example) and April is the transition. I agree though, spring has tended to be a damp and cool season for us with brief warmups as of recently. Fall is the opposite, a continuation of summer like Bluewave has mentioned.
  2. Right but "snow melt " in general doesn't include massive snow piles, those are artifically created and 10+ feet in some cases. It's understood those will be around long after the grass is bare.
  3. Do you actually think he means the snow melted down to .33"? That's the LE dude.
  4. Yeah our driveway is literally spotless after shoveling it. Once you expose the blacktop/pavement/concrete any snow disappears quickly.
  5. Yeah I just measured an additional 1.5" so 5.5" total for me
  6. Yeah ever since then it basically shut off. Getting icy now though. This stretch we've been in has really given us the most "deep winter" feel in quite awhile. This is going to be one of those Springs that really feels as though we are thawing out after the winter freeze.
  7. Exactly 4 inches here. @ForestHillWx @rgwp96 Freezing drizzle now, very slick.
  8. Yeah agreed, they can't keep up with everything.
  9. And not only that, but the storm threads go way off topic as of late.
  10. Definitely lost a good amount today. You can feel the strength of the sun increasing as it actually feels warm in direct sunlight on days like this.
  11. That's what I'm thinking too. Definitely settled down.
  12. From what I can see, 22.5" is the measurement here. Not many other locals nearby to gauge how accurate that may be, besides @rgwp96
  13. Did my best to get an even measurement that wasn't influenced by drifting. 22.5" was my measurement. @rgwp96 @ForestHillWx
  14. I'm interested as well actually. Definitely should see inflated totals when you clear the board often.
  15. Didn't know you did so well with the December storm. Ultimately, if it weren't for that one, we'd be in rough shape.
  16. My bad, 7.5" was my measurement. 10" for the season.
  17. 6.5 for the December one. 1 inch on the 3rd, and 1.5 yesterday.
  18. I thought we'd see at least three inches honestly. What did you record for the January 3rd event btw?
  19. This winter definitely feels colder than last. I think it's due to the daytime highs. Hasn't been unseasonably cold at night (generally 20's here), but many days that were forecast to get into the 40's have remained in the upper 30's. The longer days are getting more noticeable which is nice.
