  1. Alright, I was just wondering. Very uncommon but I guess can happen.
  2. You might be thinking of the seabreeze they get down there (and LI as well).
  3. @Cfa We just do lol. My high for the next two days is only in the 40's with rain. Can you really enjoy that in the middle of May? Perhaps I'm missing something, but for me 75°+ with sunny skies is far more conducive of a good mood and the ability to enjoy the outdoors than grey, rainy, and raw weather. i guess it's all just preference. I'm not home a lot and often miss weekends (I'm sure you do also) and so my enjoyment is spending family time outdoors, not in.
  4. Good, I hope thats true. Won't here a thing from me.
  5. I really can't believe that we just keep going back to this crap. 50's during the day is way BN. In fact, it's hard to remember a May with such grey days and cool highs. The small diurnal range is making the average look "better" than it really is.
  6. Today had absolutely perfect early May weather. I mean what a day. Sunny, warm, dry, and blue skies.
  7. That's a big batch out in PA heading this way. 1.20" so far.
  8. You're probably right. I adapted to that last summer though and would take it over this.
  9. Absolutely, and next week looks like even more rain. I'm an outdoors person and have very little free time, so it's outright depressing when you're stuck in the house.
  10. I agree. This is unbelievable. 48° and damp on May 1st. We've had so many days with rain and clouds that when we get a nice day it's like a prize.
  11. Late April frost. They should have had Morris County under that advisory.
  12. No it won't, that's for sure. I agree. Many chances for rain over the next week.
  13. Yeah, and parts of the Midwest could see 8" or more. Northwest Montana and the Rockies up there look good too for a storm, even blizzard conditions.
  14. Shaping up to be a beautiful and dry day. Dew points in the 30's here.
  15. Definitely. I really think it's going to be a repeat of last summer. High dews and hot.
  16. This is definitely a trend at this point. Warmth always comes with humidity now. Years ago it was dry and crisp in April, same with September.
  17. Definitely, the undergrowth is getting thicker and greener. Seems a little behind on the leaf out here though, considering it's mid-April.
  18. Sleet here in Mahwah. What a fool I was for thinking April would be nice.
  19. Boy that comes as a surprise. Normally I would miss it a bit, but this year it was so bad that I'm 100% ready for spring.
  20. I think it was March '16 when I saw mosquitos during the 2nd week of March. Lol. A "peeper," which is short for spring peeper, is a type of chorus frog. They're very tiny and mark the arrival of spring.
  21. Wow that's impressive, I usually don't hear them until the beginning of April (maybe the tail end of March like this year). I love that sound, because you just know spring is coming. Then you get the grey tree frogs in the Summer.
  22. Heard my first peeper of the season last night. He was all alone out there. Funny because last year I had a "lone peeper" as well. It's a bit early for me to be hearing them compared to years prior.
