    I’m just happy we have winter temperatures and a more sustained cold period. Seems like we had snow cover since 12/20 or so minus a few days.

    Yesterday was one of the best days of the year at Nickerson beach. All sun after 12:30 pm, the water was super clear, place was empty, and we saw dolphins twice.

    Declined a late stage offer (Friday afternoon) to meet up with some friends at Loon. Just too much on short notice considering the 6-7 hour drive. Regretting it now, though.

    All snow here now. Grass is covered and paved surfaces slowly starting to turn white.

    Generally speaking, the good thing is that we don’t actually live anywhere in between Tupelo and Huntsville.

    Yup. Definitely not the best spot but I’ll be happy with 4 plus. Told my wife to find something in the Catskills yesterday and this is what she went with. I should’ve been more involved but I was crazy at work. We may have to take take a jeb drive tomorrow

    Kinda my thinking as well. Maybe should’ve went with more elevation but had to take what I could get at this stage. Nice little place for my wife and kids. We can also bring the dog which will be fun. He doesn’t road trip all that much.

    Got a place booked up in Saugerties NY tonight. Leaving the island around 1. Hopefully it’s worth it.

    Getting better and better. Looks like southern vermont is gonna get destroyed.

    The drive home from Valley Stream at 3pm was intense yesterday. Made several decisions along the way that were iffy at best. I feel lucky that I made it without getting stuck. Nassau blvd was my saving grace.

    This will verify. I leave for Spain on the 12th and arrive in BCL on the 13th. We will get buried when I’m gone. I wish I could get odds on this shit.
