    According to hourly in TWC app. At midnight the temp in NYC will drop again to 32.

    Cool. CPK official measurement I take in central park so as long as the grass is covered will count as an official measurement.

    The NAM resembles the HRRR. According to the NAM mixing during the lull then back to snow during the next pulse then back to mix.

    On TWC the entire ground is covered in NYC. Not sure if they are in CPK. He DID say NYC had more snow in the last hour than all winter!

    According to HRRRR and NAM there will be another heavy pulse BUT the mix line moves north. Will see what happens.

    Repeat of 97/98 really. This year will likely end up with more snow (CPK).

    I honestly thought that going to 31 models would have really brought the accuracy:)

    Channel 7 said they averaged 30 models together and it came out to 2.2 for CPK.

    Depends on one's expectations really. 2018 was historic. I almost received an entire years snowfall after March 1st. I would agree I am not getting a years snowfall this March/April. It will get colder as compared to average. The pattern will still be active. If one is happy with the best pattern for snowfall since December then they will not be disappointed. As always a good pattern does not guarantee snow. However, its better than March 2012.

    Just run the ensembles on Tropical Tidbits daily. You will see that it has always shown a deep RNA pumping the SER. This has not changed and has not been pushed back. Like I posted every day, March 10th on the EPS and a couple days later on the GEFS. The question has always been how cold and the duration.

    Yeah not sure on why they named as such.

    GEPS are the Canadian ensembles. They match the EPS in cold however start the good period a couple days later like the GEFS

    I don't think any model does not have a thump of snow before the changeover.

    FWIW GEPS matches the GEFS in timing while matching the EPS in cold. Good middle ground for now.
