Good evening Liberty. You are helping me by giving my last few brain cells a workout today. I agree with your passion. I do, however believe that your stated desire is more figurative. You have already wielded the most powerful weapon available ‘information’ it, when truthful, deals more damage than the torch. If the the Times, a paper I no longer admire, put this out as strict information then they did the right thing as they should always do. As a young firebrand ( no pun intended, Liberty, ) I believed that any CEO whose actions caused a company to fail at the loss of the livelihood of many should be hung publicly on gallows erected on either side of the NYC Park Ave green spaces. I believed these monsters deserved not a golden parachute but instead a golden noose. Now I’ve mellowed so I believe they should be broken down to poverty level, forced to live in a homeless shelter and given training in the fine art of dumpster diving. It seems though all violent actions result in some collateral damage. For this situation the pen and the word are powerful enough. And Liberty, you used them well by bringing it to our attention. Thank you, as always ….

Good morning h21. I use a full length mirror because the below the neck terrain is still capable of growing hair, if nothing else. As always ….

Good morning Will. Even though ‘Bad Poster’ is a matter of interpretation you and some (forky) others post as Salvatore Dali painted. You have to look to see. If you choose not to look carefully/sincerely/repeatedly then you will never be able to see clearly. The Johnny’s you describe are still at the crayon stage. As always ….

Good morning BW. I remember a senior Industrial Engineer going over line graphs with me 35 years ago. He said if your evaluating a performance and the graph is moving In a steady up or down direction then the operation is still controllable. If however you see significant spikes up and down continuing and grouping then your operation is in danger and needs intervention before a possible collapse. Your June to September/snowfall paragraph brought that memory right to the surface. As always ….

Good morning Don. Is it possible that all the water usage/redirection/ground pumping is affecting the air moisture content? After reading and rereading these two paragraphs, ‘worry’ about how much snow you may be blessed with in the cold season seems to pale in the level of concern. As always "…

Agreed Irish. That is exactly how I feel when standing in front of a floor length mirror. As always …..

Good morning Liberty. It’s early and my cup of penance is half empty. I read your post/question and now I’m almost fully awake. With my aged brain cells working through this I, admittedly, am not having an easy time. If we could desalinate and move water from the oceans to world wide areas, in need, what would the results be? Deserts disappear, water table/aquifer rises, precipitation patterns changes? Will the ocean levels be significantly lowered if this movement was possible? Once the land sponge effect ends does sea level stabilize in the ocean/atmosphere/land cycle. What is done with all the extracted salt? Well, Liberty, I’m fully awake now. My silent prayer is that Tip doesn’t reply to your post. I doubt my ‘between the ears’ would survive reading it. As always ……

Good evening KB. I appreciate the sense of your post. My fear fear, though, is that folks stop reading/listening and revert to a ‘now cast’ based on a ‘now experience’. Yesterday during the day after the very early and very light rains with the sun out folks ( as did some of our posters ) disregarded anything but their real time observation. I happened to be out on an errand when the first early evening drops started to fall. Those out with me had no rain gear and ended up running for dry. Lesson learned? Of that, I’m not entirely sure. As always ….

Good dry/cool morning all. I generally pass on the analysis/possibilities expressed by the professionals and well versed hobbyists, in our forums. I have been doing that for several days for friends and relatives. Some thank you’s are starting to come in and I pass them on to the above mentioned. My son in law in Bay Ridge is in a row house with a ( at least 7 foot) below street level community back driveway. He sand bagged his back door even as the sun was out yesterday pm. I’m sure his neighbors were questioning his action. From what he told me, through the night, there are no questions now. He sends his thanks. All those, I have mentioned above deserve accolades but to this one, ‘who marches to his own drum’ professional I send a special thanks. To me, forky, you will always be a meteorological E F Hutton. As always ….

Good morning Hitman. I fully understand and do not disagree with your frustration/anger. My consolation is knowing that CROW whether/weather eaten broiled, boiled or raw is still an impossible meal to digest. Stay well. May we all find peace and a patch of dry ground. As always …..

My oldest daughter has MS. She contritely approached me and started to apologize while showing me her NYS ID card for the right to use medicinal cannabis. I stopped her. You are apologizing for the use of medicinal flora. Look around you and see how many, of age, folks are enjoying a brew or elevated proof liquid. Never apologize for medicinally improving your quality of life. My hug afterwards also helped. MS is a brutal disease. Not days, weeks or months but I know her years are numbered. As always ….

Good morning gl. Your post inspired me, as follows: At dusk the skulking figure crept slowly over the thick layered ground. The buzzing began as he observed the target residence. Within seconds the cloud rose and surrounded him. His scream was cut off as his mouth offered another entrance for the insects. The next day the owner noticed the carpet of berries had grown considerably. They were still dropping at quite a clip and the wasps seemed to be busy making a new home right in their midst. With the loud buzzing fading the owner walked slowly back to his home silently praying for an early winter. As always …

Sorry I missed this gem, Irish. I noticed Julian didn’t. I may just hunt down one of those insulated jumpsuits. It would offer protection, if some parts of me decide to come back to life. As always ….
