  4. Good morning Liberty. Unc’s statement is accurate in occurrence. Of all the 106 winters sampled 4.7% occurred in tge late 19th century, 3.8% and 1.9% during the early and latter part of the 20th century. 89.6% of the time, no occurrence. The meager occurrence rate and the cluster of event years qualifies as rare for me. Was their any events affecting the climate during the cluster periods that could account for it? As always

  20. Well the rest, as you put it, were early 50’s vintage. I enjoyed them On a 12 inch black and white 7 channel tv. As far as my age, I was born before the middle of the last century. Quite a long time before the microscopic miracles joined, divided and eventually grew into the ‘dude’ you’ve become. As always ....

  22. Good afternoon Jeff, i believe the intention of the comment was meant entire forum wide. Of course the man made geographic, I 84, 80, an so on, forum divider areas will continue to experience frozen events after our UHI effect paradise has seen its last. 24. If the gorgeous New England scenery doesn’t do it, nothing will. I actually edited the initial post .I substituted we for rhe and our for their. Brooklyn and Queens are certainly part of that “ technical” geographic entity. Besides, the seemingly never to be denied progression of the rain/snow line keeps us together as one big happy family. As always ....
