  1. Happy Thanksgiving To All. May we have Happiness, Peace, Health, Wealth and Snow in that order. ( That should start a debate ) .......as always,
  2. You have my support/ backing, providing you don’t use one of their rulers.
  3. I was an “ I will get it done when it stops” kind of guy. I would tell my beautiful late wife that if it was up to her I would be waiting outside, with the shovel ready, to catch the first snowflake. Now that I’ve lost her and the house is my responsibility, I understand what my love was talking about. It took almost 45 years to get it right but some of us are slow learners. Now, when the occasion arises, I will be out several times enjoying the shoveling, the snowfall and, of course, remembering her.
  4. Actually it gets kind of funny. My favorite was ( not sure if it was from Don S.) sending a hit gang with weed whackers to CP.
  5. That and winter snow measurement. It’s as if rulers have become an incomprehensible alien technology.
  6. The issue/response is not related to your question which, by the way, was well written, well thought out and far from boring, measurements in Central Park represent a match which can usually be counted on to ignite a lively discussion. Most of the time it’s in relation to snow and temperature measurements. Having lived through many of the exasperating reports or kacj of coming out of CP I can easily understand the ten foot pole response. As always, Rich
  7. Thank you. Is this record of the recent past a dark prophesy of the future?.........
  8. Considering tomrrow, I wonder how much ice cap melting it would take to see a similar sight on 4th Ave. in Brooklyn
  9. Nature, with natural beauty, always seems to give us hope.
  10. If it is, at this early date , he has some pair of b..... ah forget it.
  11. Brings to mind, Mary Martin singing about an Optimist in South Pacific, however without them the world would be a miserable place.
  12. L.B.S.F. Just made an accurate forcast predicting the end of our forums “G” behavior rating.
  13. Beautiful. “Where funny little blue birds fly beyond the rainbow why oh why can’t I” perhaps soon ........
  14. Focusing on the weather climate is a lot more enjoyable than following the political climate. Considering the above predictions there doesn’t, at the moment, seem to be much of a difference.
  15. Fifty years ago that was playing on my college roommates 59 Buick’s radio. We were going from Clarksville to Little Rock. I was heading to Brooklyn, he, to his parents farm in Minnesota. Brought back wonderful memories. Thank you.
  16. Sunny, dry and relatively cool makes it worth the winter wait. Is the Japanese current the significant driving force.?
  17. Easter forcast: Chance of snow melting on arrival.
  18. Great, I’d hoped by that time my ashes/dust would get high enough to help in the formation of frozen precipitation. I’d have finally made a meaningful contribution to the forum. Instead I’ll be fertilizing January tulips.
  19. Admistrator/Moderator. Invisible and visible warriors in the forum world. We are back. It’s over and Thank You for what must often seem a thankless job. As always ...........
  20. I never realized how much I enjoyed this forum until I didn’t have it. Being in the prime of my senility, I’ll just blame the outage on global warming compounded by solar flares. As always.....
  21. A 90 in NYC at the end of November, Imagine similar temperatures all the way to Maine. The Moderators for the New England forum and ours would have to hire mercenaries to keep us under control.
  22. The response by Hazwoper, 14 hours ago, shows your not alone. He gave us two choices, to perhaps vote on, regarding Hickory’s post. I, however, see it as a strained attempt at sarcasm that does manage to make some uncomfortable, offend others and definitely communicate “ strange”. So is it trolling or stupid, probably both, sadly well done Hickory. As always....
